What does this quiz explore?

One more chapter turns into another? This free reading habits quiz explores library visits, bookshops, e-books and the small reading routines that find their way into everyday life.

The ten questions do not rank readers by the number of books they finish. Think about familiar moments, such as revisiting a passage or discovering your next book. Reading on paper or a screen is simply part of your own experience.

A question from the quiz

Have you planned to stop after one more chapter, then read the next chapter's first sentence and kept going?

One of the ten real questions. Choose the answer that fits your experience rather than trying to predict a score.

How to take it and read your result

  1. Answer ten questions for free, in about two minutes. Choose how often you experience each situation.
  2. The four choices are Never, Rarely, Sometimes and Often. Selecting one opens the next question; you can go back and change an answer.
  3. Answers score 0–3 each, for a total of 0–30. The ranges below select one of four results for your hobby.
Tier 1
0–7 / 30
Tier 2
8–15 / 30
Tier 3
16–23 / 30
Tier 4
24–30 / 30

Scores group the frequency of the habits in these questions. They do not measure skill, health or personal worth, and the tiers are not validated diagnostic thresholds.

Before you start

Can I take this if I am new to the hobby?

Yes. Choose Never for situations you have not experienced. A low score or a short history with a hobby does not mean you enjoy it less.

Can I save progress or share the result?

Progress is stored in this browser so you can continue later. After finishing, you can save your result or share a link or image. A shared link does not include individual answers. Progress may not persist if browser storage is blocked.
