mytest Android App Privacy Policy

- Privacy inquiries

1. Scope
This policy applies to the “mytest · 취미가 본업” Android app (package kr.mytest), operated by 김준연. The app offers hobby quizzes and results without registration or login. It is intended for people aged 16 and over, for entertainment and reflection rather than clinical assessment or diagnosis.
The app is offered to users aged 16 and over in the Republic of Korea. Translations of this policy describe the same app and do not indicate distribution in other countries. This is the operator’s policy for the app and privacy inquiries. The linked Google policies provide additional information; they do not replace this policy.
2. Quiz information stored on your device
The app stores answers, quiz progress, saved results, and language preferences on your device to run and resume quizzes, display results, maintain your saved collection, and apply your chosen language. These records are not synchronized to other devices.
The operator does not send individual answers or scores to an operator-run server or as advertising events. This local processing is separate from automatic processing by the advertising SDK described below.
3. Information processed by AdMob
The app uses Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen SDK 1.6.0 for AdMob banner ads. No separate ad-network mediation SDK is connected. The ads SDK can automatically send information to Google and other parties involved in its services over the network.
Google identifies IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), app/ad interactions such as launches and taps, diagnostics such as launch timing, hangs and energy use, and Android advertising IDs, app set IDs and, where applicable, identifiers associated with signed-in device accounts. Purposes include advertising, measurement, service/SDK analytics, and fraud prevention. Processing varies with device, consent and ad settings.
SDK advertising and service measurement does not mean that Firebase Analytics is integrated. Firebase Analytics is not currently connected to the app. The website’s GA4 and AdSense are separate from the app’s AdMob.
4. Advertising consent and choices
Google UMP SDK 4.0.0 checks advertising consent information and displays consent messages where required. Consent status and choices are used to manage ad eligibility and privacy choices. An entry point to change advertising privacy choices appears in app settings when required.
Use the choices in the messages to refuse, withdraw or change consent. Choices and region can affect personalization and ad delivery. Non-personalized ads do not mean that no data is processed. Depending on your Android version and device, system ad settings let you reset or delete the advertising ID. Google ad controls are also linked below.
5. Sharing a result at your request
Sharing occurs only when you initiate it and select a destination. A shared link contains the hobby and result tier. A shared image contains result text and a link. Neither includes individual answers. Anyone receiving a link can open that result.
Temporary share images are stored in app cache. Files more than seven days old are cleaned up when the next share image is generated, rather than automatically at the seven-day mark.
Images saved through the system file picker and copies delivered to external apps are not removed by deleting quiz records or your saved collection. Manage them in their saved location or destination app. The destination app’s or result website’s policy also applies when you open it.
6. Contacting the operator
If you email support.mytest@gmail.com, the operator receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send to respond, investigate an issue, or handle a rights request. Do not include unnecessary quiz answers or sensitive information.
Inquiry information is deleted without undue delay once handling is complete and the information is no longer needed for its purpose. Only where an applicable law requires a particular record to be retained will that record be kept separately for the required period, then deleted. Gmail is used to receive and store email.
7. External services and international processing
Answers, progress, saved results and language settings stay on the device; the operator does not transfer them to overseas servers. Information sent directly from the ads SDK to Google, inquiry emails, and processing by a sharing destination you choose are separate from those local records. Google can process advertising data as an independent controller determining its own purposes and means; all advertising processing is therefore not described as processing solely on the operator’s instructions.
Advertising recipients include Google and affiliates and service providers involved in its services. Relevant advertising partner details and purposes are available in Google’s policies and the consent messages provided. Using no separately connected ad network does not override Google’s own service policies or ad settings.
Information reaches external services during network requests for advertising or consent and when you send email. Google describes worldwide servers and possible processing outside your country. Where Google processes information and how long it retains it depend on the data, purpose, user settings, and Google’s retention and transfer arrangements. See the Google privacy, retention and transfer links below.
Advertising consent and choices are managed through the messages and settings described in section 4. Reading this policy is not itself consent to advertising-related or international processing. Deleting local records does not delete data already received by Google or a sharing destination.
8. Retention and deletion
- Use the app settings deletion feature to remove quiz history and the saved collection. This feature does not also remove your language preference.
- Clearing app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app removes information stored by the app on your device. The app does not synchronize these records to other devices.
- Temporary images follow the seven-day cache cleanup rule above. Clearing cache or app data can also remove them. Saved external images and shared copies must be managed separately.
- Google processes advertising and consent information for periods governed by its policies and relevant settings. Deleting quiz records is not an immediate deletion of Google data or a reset of advertising consent.
- Inquiry email is deleted according to the purpose and applicable retention obligations described in section 6.
9. Your rights and children
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. Manage local information in the app or Android settings, or email for help. The operator cannot remotely access or delete records that exist only on your device. For information processed by Google, use its privacy controls and request channels; you can also contact the operator. You may complain to your competent data protection authority.
The app is not designed or offered for children under 16. If you or a guardian suspect inappropriate processing of a child’s information, contact the operator. After checking, the operator will take appropriate steps for information held directly and provide request channels for external services. This does not imply that the app verifies age or collects parental consent.
10. Security and visits to the website
Keeping quiz records on-device and excluding individual answers and scores from server and ad events limits external transmission. Google states that user data transmitted by its ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. A device lock and up-to-date operating system and app help protect local information.
The operator handles inquiry materials only as needed and deletes unnecessary information.
This policy page loads no advertising, analytics or ad-consent message tags. Cloudflare may process connection information to serve the page. Other pages, such as shared results, are separately covered by the website privacy notice and may involve GA4 and AdSense. That is different from integrating Firebase Analytics into the Android app.
11. Changes and contact
Changes to features, SDKs, processing or law may require updates to this page and its effective date. Where appropriate, important changes will be notified before they take effect through the app or another suitable channel. Consent will be requested separately when required by law.
